Shalom Court offers permanent boutique accommodation to 29 rest-home assessed citizens.

At least one room is assigned to temporary accommodation for senior persons who require short-term care under carer support, respite care or convalescent care after an accident or operation.

The Lodge offers 14 en-suited rooms:

  • Beds have electronic functions, increasing personal comfort and manoeuvrability;

  • All rooms have double wardrobe and lockable drawers;

  • Wall heaters allow residents to control room temperature;

  • Bathrooms are spacious with built-in vanity and cupboards, heated towel rail and walk-in shower;

  • A number of rooms have balconies.

There are 13 one-bedroom cottages:

  • Cottages vary in design and are approximately 35m2

  • Each cottage has a good-sized kitchenette featuring a refrigerator, built-in cupboards and bench space for a microwave;

  • The lounge/dining area can accommodate a resident’s own furniture and tables (with prior management approval);

  • The  bedroom is separate with either a walk-in or double wardrobe;

  • Bathrooms are spacious with built-in vanity and cupboards, heated towel rail and walk-in shower;

  • Residents are required to have a degree of independence and be ambulant. 

There is 1 two-bedroom cottage:

  • Two double bedrooms each with en-suite bathrooms;

  • Separate lounge, kitchen and dining alcove;

  • Generous cupboard space throughout;

  • Allocated parking space;

  • Suitable for a couple or two friends where both are rest-home assessed. 

Family and friends are encouraged to participate in organised activities and events. There are no restrictions on visiting hours; all main entrance doors however are locked at 8pm.  Tea and coffee is freely available throughout the day at kitchenette stations.
